"Crossing Boundaries Chromatic Landscape"
Acrylic on canvas board, 24" x 30", 2006; $20. Signed and dated on back. There is also an arrow on the back indicating in which direction the painting is to be hung. Being painted on canvas board, this piece is easily and more cheaply framed than paintings on stretched canvas. It would look particularly attractive matted, I think. As with all my paintings in this style, I call this one a "Chromatic Landscape," as, along with all others in the style, it resembles something of an aerial view of a human-altered landscape, with the differing colors representing different features on the landscape. I call this one "Crossing Boundaries," as in this piece, I allowed the individual strokes of color to overlap some and to cross the "grid" outlined in the black linear features, something I did not allow myself to do in all of my "Chromatic Landscapes." May be shipped; shipping and handling fees will apply and will vary according to your location. Realize that no matter your location, shipping is going to be rather expensive, given the painting's size. Send Kevin mail to inquire about shipping and handling or anything else about this painting. This painting is a super deal at $20, as other paintings of mine in the style and of similar size have brought over $100. I am letting this piece go at this bargain price as I've had it for a good long time, am tired of it, and frankly, I need to get rid of some of my art as I'm running out of room for storing my continuing production. Thanks for looking!
