Loony Bin"
Acrylic on canvas, 16" x
20". Titled "From the Loony Bin" since I did this painting
during a stay at the psychiatric hospital in 1996. Signed and dated on
back. This painting was the original piece that started me painting the
series of "Chromatic Landscapes" I've done. I must say, though,
that try as I might with those "Chromatic Landscape" paintings, I
could never seem to regain the fluidity and spontaneity of this painting here. Sold
for $200.
