This painting was inspired by a unique and different view of the San Francisco Peaks (just north of Flagstaff, AZ) than one normally encounters. The dark green of the mixed conifer forest on top of the mountain contrasts with the bright, new-summer green of the aspens below. Acrylic on canvas, 24" x 30". For sale for $100. Painted in 2007. Signed and dated on back.
